We MADE IT!  But we didn’t come by covered wagon.. whew!  Left the MTC 2 days early racing ahead of a history making bomb cyclone blizzard with Kidbys and Julanders.  We spent the first hour 10 days in training and learning how to teach people in each site.  Now we are working, but rarely together.  Elder T Starts his day with the horses feeding & grooming & harnessing at 7:45 am and has given wagon rides, carriage rides, ox wagon rides, has moved wagons out of storage to be displayed at the historic sites, scooped poop, cleaned the barn and given tours with Sister T in the Brigham Young home two Sundays. Most nights he’s finished by 4 pm and Sister T has been at the homes of Brigham Young, Heber C Kimball, Wilford Woodruff, John Taylor, the Post Office, Boot Shop and Lyon Drug Store sharing stories and inviting guests to enjoy the blessings of the Savior in their lives from 9:45 am to 5 pm.

 Oh..Sunsets on the Mississippi!!
A Relief Society Birthday reenactment at the Red Brick Store with Sis Kidby & Julander.
Elder T drove us there in the wagon with the big black Percheron horses!

MTC

Here we are at the Provo Mission Training Center
March 4, 2019

When we drove up Mike and Nanette Kidby were just coming out!  Then Loretta & Brent Julander rushed up to hugged us!  We're here with 15 other couples going to Nauvoo including our friends Ann & Jim Stokes from our Handcart Mission in Wyoming.  Such FUN!

Kent says the Food is GREAT!

The young missionaries rush to open doors for us and let us into the lunch lines.  A server dropped a whole stack of trays and 15 missionaries jumped up to help him.  Such a joy to be surrounded by kind, generous people who are trying to be like Jesus!

Elder Carl Cook came and taught us to surrender our will to the Lord's.  He waved a big white flag in front of his face.  We also watched Elder Bednar's devotional video for Home Evening  teaching us how to turn outward and take upon us the Character of Christ, and not be like the "Cookie Monster"  It was wonderful!

On our free time one evening we went through the new Provo City Center temple with Stokes and Saturday morning Julanders came with us to the extraordinarily gorgeous Payson temple.  What a thrill!

We're looking forward to our Visitor Center training Monday and Tuesday.  Then we will be departing Wednesday morning when we will post again!  Keeping our finger crossed as there was an avalanche that closed Provo Canyon yesterday!  Love to all!
